Just a bit different from the usual,
Grandma made this casserole for every holiday. So simple and tasty, too!

1 Medium Onion
2 cans Tomato Soup
8 oz. Elbow Macaroni (or any of your choice)
Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Fill a 4 quart pot with water 2/3
full. Mince onion and add to water. Bring to a boil and add the macaroni,
cooking until just tender. Drain macaroni well reserving the onion.
Start
layering a 4 quart casserole dish as follows:
Place a thin layer of tomato soup (1/2 can) on
the bottom
Add a layer of macaroni
Top macaroni with a layer of shredded cheese
Repeat layering one more time
Cover with one can of tomato soup and top with
more cheese
Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes until soup
is bubbling
