Tomato-Cheese-Macaroni Casserole

Just a bit different from the usual, Grandma made this casserole for every holiday.  So simple and tasty, too!   Enjoy!

Your host, Brad

1 Medium Onion
2 cans Tomato Soup
8 oz. Elbow Macaroni (or any of your choice)
Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Fill a 4 quart pot with water 2/3 full.  Mince onion and add to water.  Bring to a boil and add the macaroni, cooking until just tender.  Drain macaroni well reserving the onion.

Start layering a 4 quart casserole dish as follows:

Place a thin layer of tomato soup (1/2 can) on the bottom MVC-007S.JPG (31813 bytes)

Top macaroni with a layer of shredded cheese MVC-013S.JPG (31892 bytes)

Cover with one can of tomato soup and top with more cheese MVC-022S.JPG (30349 bytes)
Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes until soup is bubbling MVC-024S.JPG (41206 bytes)
