This tasty and piquant appetizer is always a hit at any party I go to.  The hostess always asks me to bring this.  Enjoy!

Bring a block or more of cream cheese to room temperature.

Mix together apple jelly (this I find is a good non-overpowering flavor) with an equal part of your favorite jelly.  I enjoy using current, peach or apricot.  Guava is good for a tropical fee.  Try not to use a jam that has seeds in it.

Whisk the two flavors together; having the jelly at room temperature is essential.  Then add horseradish sauce to taste.  Most of our friends like it so that you can taste just a bit of heat.  I prefer the Boar’s Head pub style but any of the creamy types are fine.  A little goes a long way!

Pour the jelly combination over top of the cream cheese and serve with club crackers.

Your host, Brad
