Gelatin Salad

All of my aunts used to be big on having a gelatin salad at our family picnics.  Below are several types.  Enjoy!

Your Host,  Brad

2 3-oz. or 1 6-oz. box of gelatin
When preparing, decrease water to 1 1/2 cups boiled water.

The recipes below are only ideas of ingredients to add to accompany the color.   You can also add 1/2 cup mayonnaise for a creamy taste and color.

Green Gelatin

Lime gelatin
chopped celery
pineapple (canned only!)
pimento

Orange Gelatin

Orange, Peach or Mango gelatin
shredded carrots
chopped celery
mandarin orange segments

Yellow Gelatin

Lemon gelatin
chopped celery
shredded carrots

(above is called a "Sunshine Salad")
