FD00088_.wmf (17918 bytes)Sautéed Mushrooms

1 Lb. Mushrooms
2 Tbl Butter
2 Tbl Mild olive oil
1 tsp crushed garlic
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp chives
1/4 tsp sage
Salt to taste

Clean 1 pound of fresh mushrooms.  To properly clean, wipe with damp towel; do not place under running water as this will increase the moisture content of your mushroom.

Slice mushrooms, stem and all, to the size you like.   We enjoy thicker sliced 'shrooms to give you that full flavor.  Sauté in pan with butter, oil and garlic for 5 minutes.  Add herbs and continue cooking until mushrooms are tender yet firm.

Enjoy with your favorite steak or as a side dish.   Enjoy

                                                Your Host,  Brad
