HERBED PORK ROAST   herbed_pork_roast.jpg (9012 bytes)

One of our favorite crock-pot recipes is for an herbed roast along with Paul's mashed potatoes and some sweet sugar snap peas.  Cooked this way, the pork will come out tender and juicy every "thyme" and its soooo easy..  Enjoy!

Your Host, Brad

A 2 1/2 to 3 pound pork roast or tenderloin
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp sage
1 1/2 tsp rosemary
1 bay leaf
2 fresh leaves of basil
1 apple, cored and cut into quarters
Salt and pepper

Place roast in crock-pot.  Cover just to top with water.  Add thyme, sage, rosemary, bay leaf, basil and apple.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Cover and cook on medium for 5 to 6 hours.  Make yourself some gravy and savour every bite!  (add potatoes to your crock pot with roast and cover with water for delicious boiled potatoes!)
